  • To make sure you are getting the most for your money, we will discuss pricing and package options during your consultation, based on your family’s unique needs.

  • We offer sessions in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, as well as the Greater Mankato area. Travel fees may apply if located outside of the service area.

  • Phone is the quickest way to contact us (612-470-3068). If you need to leave a voicemail, we will return your call within 1 business day. Email is also checked frequently throughout the day (heartsandpawsmn@gmail.com). Messages are triaged based on severity of behavior issue. We understand how stressful it can be when there is a conflict between your child and dog, so we take pride in returning urgent messages as soon as possible.

  • Alison is a Licensed Family Paws Parent Educator, and a CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Knowledge Assessed). She has 15+ years of experience helping thousands of families and their pets.

  • We will start by assessing the root causes of behaviors that are occurring in your home, and work with you to form a plan. We are committed to using positive, reward-based techniques, backed by science to ensure your family is using safe, and easy to implement strategies.

  • Our sessions take place in the comfort of your own home, or virtually if you prefer. Being able to observe your family and pets in their everyday environment will allow us to better assess root causes of behavior and implement strategies based on your unique home.
